Photographer, Abstract Artist

As a photojournalist, I was trained to look at the deeper story behind the moment. After a 20-year break from shooting primarily black-and-white news photography, and a career as a marketing consultant and graphic designer, I returned to photography and simultaneously rediscovered my passion for the outdoors. I am never quite as grounded or inspired as when I am in nature—among the trees, on a beach, climbing mountains, or just being still on a rock with a view. I have a deep reverence for all life and now aspire to tell that story—which has been coming to me in quiet whispers for decades.
